Provides a range of services to battered women and children and batterers, including a Family Violence Hotline (718-237-1337); crisis intervention; individual, group and couples counseling services; residential services, including a shelter and scaftered-sfte apartments for victims of battering; special counseling services for children; and referral and educational information to battered women and children and batterers. Services offered at the Jewish Board's Madeleine Borg Community Services (MBCS) offices throughout New York City.

Eligibility criteria: New York City residents; open to all battered women and batterers, victims and families where physical and sexual abuse is present. Payments accepted: Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance, sliding scale.
Languages (other than English): Hebrew, Russian, Spanish, Yiddish.
Wheelchair access.
